I initially came to Australia on a student visa to do a Bachelor of Business. However, before the end of my degree I was offered a sponsor so I changed visas and applied for a 457 visa but the nomination of the Restaurant was refused, which meant I had to withdraw my 457 visa application and leave Australia. However, I did not want to leave yet because while waiting for the outcome of the 457 visa I kept studying and when the nomination got refused, I was still studying and did not want to leave Australia without finishing my degree. Therefore, I contacted Condor Migration to get some advice as I knew going back to a student visa was potentially complicated.
I initially spoke with Jason (business development manager), who was very nice to talk to and he put me in contact with Ton (migration lawyer).
The first thing I liked about Ton was that he was realistic since the beginning. He advised of my situation (without scaring me, which many lawyers do!) and started to look for possible alternatives. He explained every single option I had and went through pros and cons of each of them so that I could make an informed decision. During the process, he was always very efficient and answered every single question I had (loved that! and is that when you do not understand what is going on with your application you just freak out) during the process. He was also very patient and many times waited for me while I was over the phone with my mum telling her what he had said so she could help me make decisions (Massive thanks!!! Ton).
In summary, after a long process, Ton managed to help me get a new student visa and I will soon graduate as a Marketer and get a chance to apply for a graduate visa. Again, Massive thanks Ton!! and of course Jason for all your support through the process. Forever grateful!
