Please consult a legal professional for current information and personalised advice. 澳洲競爭力委員會在2016年9月12日發表了一份有關移民政策的研究報告﹐當中包括僱主擔保﹐父母簽證﹐及其他簽證整體對澳洲的效益和負擔等等。當時沒有引起很廣泛的討論﹐但是其中很多的建議都被政府所採納﹐并成為今年4月18日公佈的457/186簽證改革的一部份﹐包括提高英語能力要求﹐加強本土勞動市場測試等等。 報告當中亦有提及父母永久簽證, 重點包括: 今年初澳洲政府公佈的3/5年期父母旅遊簽證正是該報告內所提出的一個建議。其他建議在今年或明年亦隨時會被接納成移民政策﹐包括: 坊間亦有傳言將來父母簽證申請人亦需要提供基本英語能力証明﹐改善他們來到澳洲後適應及融入澳洲社會的能力。 該報告亦有建議澳洲政府廢除投資移民簽證(188C 及 188D)。 我們預期澳洲政府在接下來將會按建議改革父母簽證﹐假如您有打算為父母辦理這個簽證的話﹐我們建議您盡快計劃及遞交申請！

偏遠地區擔保(subclass 187 – direct entry stream – Regional Migration Sponsored Stream)對大學畢業生或有基本工作經驗的人來說是最容易最快速拿到永居的方法﹐目前只有以下要求: 擔保公司需要在偏遠地區﹐例如陽光海岸(Sunshine Coast)或以北, Maroochydore, Toowoomba, Nerang, Pacific Pines, Jimboomba等等; 申請人需要有雅思6﹐或是持有英美加紐等英語國家護照; 擔保公司只需要有年收入$250,000左右﹐并且聘有2,3名兼職澳洲員工; 申請人需要為45歲以下方可遞交申請; 申請人有足夠學歷或工作經驗擔任相關職位。 相比457簽證, 187簽證沒有明文禁止申請人和擔保公司之間有任何親屬關係﹐而且還有以下優勢: 能夠擔保的職位只需要Anzsco Skill Level 3或以上, 不限於MLTSSL及STSOL﹐即是可以擔保零售商店經理 (Retail Store Manager), Childcare Group Leader等普及職位; 真誠職位空缺 (Genuine Position)等審批難度較低; 擔保公司不需要有培訓員工支出; 簽證獲批以後馬上拿到PR﹐不需要數年時間經歷數個申請﹐冒著政策改變的風險。 對於大學畢業生或有工作經驗人士來說﹐雅思6分可能是最困難的要求。我們能夠為您介紹本地雅思教練進行一對一或小組訓練﹐一般來說可以在數個月內將您的雅思成績提升到足夠的水平。 在2018年3月將會面臨重大改革﹐申請人將需要有3年工作經驗方可申請﹐而其他各方面的要求(包括公司和職位方面)將會更為嚴格。到時候大學畢業生將不能夠馬上申請這個簽證﹐而需要經過其他簽証收集到足夠經驗方可申請。
